Consulting services in the area of anti-racism and equity is an unregulated market. When you choose EQ, you can be confident that you are engaging a company that has been built from the ground up, focusing on expertise and service delivery. Quite simply, we are confident that we are providing quality service grounded in knowledge and lived experience.
We are continuously evolving and engaged in learning (another principle of equity is that the learning never stops, especially for service providers) for the benefits of our clients, who deserve the best service available: to us, that means that everything we do must also be grounded in best practices, and as our obligation to contribute to the wellbeing of our community.
Of course! While the Equity360°™ suite of comprehensive services in response to an identified need for wholistic approach to the provision of equity and anti-racism services, organizations are always able to select the services they feel would most benefit their organization at any given time.
Our Principal Consultant, Laurelle, will meet with you confidentially to discuss the needs of your organization, discuss any current issues affecting the organization, and the organization's budget, then provide you with a plan as to which services might work best to meet the needs of your organization.
Yes! We can provide people and culture services without engaging in our other services. Our framework for service delivery and praxis are always delivered with equity as a core principle, because research shows that this is the best way to engage in people and culture work.
The reality is that there are costs which come with not doing equity work: failing to keep up with the community expectations, loss of market share, innovation and decision-making capacity are a few of those costs. From an operations standpoint, not doing equity work can also cost the organization in lost productivity, institutional knowledge when folks leave the organization, increased cost of onboarding and recruitment, increased use of employee sick time due to stress and related conditions, and damage to reputation and credibility, and increased risk of discrimination complaints, and more.
A core principle of equity work is that everyone should be paid fairly for the work they do. We do charge for our services based on nature of the service and the time and expertise which is required to deliver exceptional service. That said, we want our services to be accessible (yup, access is an equity issue too!) so we will work to help your organization to stay within your budget. Please speak with us and we will do our best to help find a solution that works for your organization.
EQ offers discounted rates for many of our services to non-profit organizations.
